伍德宾公司在赛事规划中依靠熟悉度

Woodbine Entertainment greenlighted live racing at both Woodbine Racetrack and Woodbine Mohawk Park at the beginning of June and ever since then, more and more individuals are exploring its wagering opportunities. Jim Lawson, Chief Executive Officer of Ontario’s racing leader, said that traditions should be respected when working on the live schedule. Canada’s Triple Crown had to remain unchanged despite the turbulence.

When it comes to live racing, horse racing enthusiasts have spent years following everything happening at both Woodbine Racetrack and Woodbine Mohawk Park. This comes with a certain pattern of the events that has remained relatively unchanged throughout the years. The Trible Crown is one of the most renowned clusters of live events everyone is looking forward to once the summer comes.

Triple Crown Action

Mr. Lawson made it clear that traditions have to be kept alive and cherished, and this was one of the leading factors when working on the schedule for the 2020 live season. There are three live events coming with this iconic series of races and their sequence had to remain the same despite all other changes. Their dates are the only thing that will be different.

The Queen’s Plate is the first event of this string of riveting live races and this has been the case for years and years. September 12 is about to see this riveting horse racing bonanza transform Woodbine Racetrack. It will take place on the tapeta course. It should be noted that it was supposed to run on June 27, according to the original plan for action unveiled at the beginning of this year.

Horse participating in this race will have to cover a 1 ¼ mile track as quickly as possible, in order to get to the top positions and win. The second race is about to commence following the traditional distance between the first and the second event. The Prince of Wales Stakes is about to make September 29 more special than ever.

Vibrant Schedule

Exactly 12 days after the first pearl of the Canadian Triple Crown, it will be time for the second exciting offering. It will once again take place at Fort Erie Racetrack in Fort Erie. It was important that the location also remained unchanged this year, as the change of scenery is yet another bonus coming with the three-step racing series. Horse racing will have to run 1 3/16 miles on dirt.

This is going to be the 85th running of this race. Once this phase is over, it will be time for the third and final one, being the Breeders’ Stakes. Woodbine Racetrack will once again welcome the racing action on October 24. The turf race covers 1 ½ mile and it is expected to electrify the crowd. For the time being, all three of the events are expected to happen without spectators, but the dynamically changing situation could bring spectators.

Woodbine Entertainment is working closely with the provincial government and following all health safety recommendations. Mr. Lawson thinks that the uncertainty of the situation further increases the demand for something solid and familiar, which mandated the unchanged structure of Canada’s Triple Crown.
